Wigan Warriors Community Foundation, in partnership with Wigan Warriors, The RFL and Wigan and Leigh Service Area are delighted to be able to offer a fantastic opportunity for 2 full-time community rugby league coaches.
The successful applicants will be responsible for delivering high quality rugby league coaching sessions in a variety of settings including education, amateur clubs and specialist community sector organisations. The successful applicants will also be responsible for contributing to the Wigan Warriors Community Foundation Business Plan and the Wigan and Leigh Service Area plan.
Applicants are expected to have a coaching qualification in Rugby League to a standard that allows them to coach independently, with experience of coaching in a variety of settings. Experience or knowledge of sports marketing principles and a sport related degree is preferable.
The post will be funded for 3 years from March 2010 with professional development opportunities being provided by all partners.
Salary - £18,500 pa (3yr Contract – 37hr per week)
