High Five For Leigh Refs
Posted on 14-12-2009  Email To Friend       Print Version

The Leigh Referees Society is celebrating after recently having five of their match officials selected for the RFL’s National Camps.

The five selected officials were Tom Owen, Ben Hayward, Robert Webb, Andy Bentham and Scott Mikalauskas.

All five have shown excellent progression recently and continue to build of the skills they’ve learnt and apply them on the field.

Joe Cobb Development Officer for the Leigh Society said, “All five officials have shown through their commitment and attitude their desire to become top officials and it has been rewarded with their selection to the National Camps. The Leigh Society continues to grow in strength and with the likes of Warren Turley recently becoming a Grade 1 referee, shows our development plans are successful.”

Anybody wishing to become a match official should contact Peter Brooke on peter.brooke@rfl.uk.com for further information.
